Snow and Wardrobe Dreams

Ahh... New Hampshire. One minute, all the snow is gone and you trade in your thick (yet stylish) coat for a cute impractical number than the next minute Mother Nature slams 8 inches back on you! Time to get my thick scarves and mittens out again! I don't know what it would be like to live in a place with out real full-out seasons like we have over here. My favorite thing about New Hampshire is the seasons... and the fashion that goes along with them! In places like Florida and California you can wear basically the same wardrobe all year round (if you wanted to!) but around here there is a need... for practical purposes to take out your winter or summer things... drastically changing your wardrobe. It is so much fun to welcome back my beautiful tank tops that (for arguments sake) was locked away all winter!!! Also how can people in Florida LIVE with out the possibility of a snow day!! That’s the best part about New England. Keep you fingers crossed for tomorrow!!

Anyways enough about the weather. I have been so bored with my wardrobe lately!! If I wasn't so poor and jobless maybe I could afford a shopping spree at my favorite store.... well my favorite affordable store. God knows I would love a full Marc by Marc Jacobs wardrobe but High School students (unless the parents are extremely generous) usually aren't exactly rolling in the Benjamin’s. I can't even afford The Gap lately (home of my favorite jean... the long and lean!). But my secret spot for a whole knew wardrobe for 30 bucks is TJ Maxx... the miracle store. Their sale rack is my home! I rotate between TJ's and Marshall’s... depending on which one has the best selections (they are basically the same store)... lately it has been TJ's. They are both less then 5 mins from my house... a short drive for some instant retail therapy (my favorite kind!). I buy almost everything there... purses, perfume, wallets, glasses cases, gloves, hats, scarves, watches, tights, coats, shoes, belts... a lot of my accessories as you can see... but also I buy shirts, skirts, dresses and sweaters sometimes pants but very rarely (these kinda places and my thighs are heard to get the fit right if you know what I mean!!). I bought a bra there once too... but it was because I was stranded in the middle of Connecticut in the summer with out a strapless... 80 degrees and no thin tank tops?? I don't think so! Anyways... I love the place... it's the thrill of the hunt that gets me going! Finding amazing stuff for half the cost is what keeps me going! I have found so many treasures there... the place makes dreams come true. Once I found a pair of camouflage converse there for $5, Versace perfume for $20, a beautiful Kenneth Cole reaction watch for $30, the dress of my dreams for my uncles wedding for $20, a leather messenger bag for $30, two beautiful silk Liz Claiborne skirts for $10 each, plus SO much more. If you have never been there... I suggest you take a visit! You will look like a million bucks for $30!

Oh... by the way... i might have went a bit link crazy! but i think if for some reason some poor soul reads this and wonders... what exactly is marc by marc jacobs they will be one click away from beautiful fashion bliss... instead of having to go through all the time in googling it!
